NEACSM Fall Conference "Bridging the Gap: Translation to Application" October 19-20, 2017 Rhode Island Convention Center Providence, RI
Session Proposals (Due April 15, 2017)-
I'm pleased to share the online Speaker Proposal Form for the Fall 2017 Annual Fall Conference. The overall theme of our Chapter’s conference is “Bridging the Gap: Translation to Application" and the conference is being designed to present research alongside a practical approach, thereby translating science into direct application. This goes hand in hand with the mission of our conference in providing attendees an opportunity to gain knowledge from a wide variety of topics in the fields of Sports Medicine and Exercise Science.
NEACSM leadership has gathered a diverse slate of keynote and invited speakers for a stimulating and educational conference. Topics covered by our invited speakers include muscle hypertrophy and protein metabolism, bioenergetics and elite athlete performance, brain training and neuroscience, as well as a hands on session involving developing power and explosiveness.
It is now my hope that we can build the remainder of the program with high quality proposals from our current Chapter members. We are very fortunate in the New England region to have extraordinary universities and colleges, faculty, professionals, practitioners, and students with an abundance of talent who can contribute to the annual conference.
Therefore, this is an open invitation, to all of you, to submit a proposal to be considered for this year’s upcoming Fall Conference.
If you have questions regarding a proposal, please feel free to contact me. I am more than happy to answer any questions that you may have.
Thank you in advance for your consideration of submitting a proposal,
Jason Melnyk, Ph.D., CSCS NEACSM President-elect
