UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP
Award Amount- $250 US
Deadline- June 1 of each year
Eligibility Requirements-
1) The student must be a current NEACSM member.
2) The individual must be enrolled in an accredited college/university within the New England Chapter.
3) The student must be an undergraduate student majoring in the areas of clinical or basic exercise science or sports medicine.
4) Demonstrated academic excellence of 3.3/4.0 scale in undergraduate studies.
5) The application should include the following:
- Official transcripts
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official NEACSM Cover Sheet
- Cover letter highlighting academic and professional accomplishments
- Curriculum Vitae
Determination of the Undergraduate Scholarship Award is based on:
- Academic excellence
- Professional/Work experience and its relationship to professional development for a career in exercise science, sports medicine, or a related field.
- Professional activities including professional memberships, workshop/conference attendance, and professional service.
