Conference Description
The goal of the 2024 Fall Conference, "Building Bridges: Spanning the Gap Between Professional Silos," is to bring together students, researchers, healthcare-providers, and educators from diverse professional backgrounds
working to further sport and exercise science. We will be featuring invited speakers from a wide array of professional disciplines, including psychology, nutrition, public health, sports medicine, and exercise physiology. It is our hope that by expanding our reach and including professionally diverse perspectives, we will provide a rich platform for education, networking, and community building.

Invited speakers: Dr. Sarah Camhi, Dr. Meghan Garvey, Dr. Pradeep Dinakar, Dr. Aston McCollough, Dr. Brandon Yates, Dr. Ana Abrantes, and Dr. Paul Gallo 

Free Communications Late-Breaking Abstract Submissions Open Now!

Deadline: September 6, 2024

The NEACSM Free Communications Committee has extended the deadline and is now accepting late-breaking abstract submissions for the 2024 Fall Conference. Accepted abstracts will be presented during the conference. 

 

Opportunities exist to present via poster and slide/oral formats. There are two general categories for submission, STUDENT and PROFESSIONAL.

 

Students can also compete for cash prizes, including:

  • Student Investigator Awards: Three prizes of $500 each awarded to the top competitor in the Bachelors, Master's, and Doctoral categories.

  • President's Cup Competition: One prize of $1,200 awarded to the top graduate student competitor (either Master's or Doctoral).
